Last season saw the Notre Dame football team record a double-digit campaign victory. This year, you should expect the same level of performance. Even though expectations are high, the team has to grapple with losing some of its top talents. For instance, the team lost its all-time winningest quarterback called Ian Book. Other stars the team has lost include Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, Daelin Hayes, and Ogundeji. The three players all left for the NFL. However, an immense pool of talented players in the Notre Dame football team is expected to fill the huge void left. Here are players the Notre Dame football team will heavily rely on this campaign.

Drew White is one of those dependable players. The team will be banking on his tremendous experience and leadership. He will be a great asset to the team. His contribution to the team is likely to grow following the hiring of Marcus Freeman. Marcus Freeman is the new defensive coordinator of the team. Being an elite coach, stars like Drew White are expected to shine even more. Another player expected to lead the Notre Dame team to victory is Kyren Williams. Kyren Williams is the running back for the team. The team is hoping that he’ll maintain the impressive statistics he attained during his first full season. He achieved more than 1000 yards rushing, and yards receiving were more than 300. Besides, he was a great enabler to the success of quarterback Ian Book. He offered the much-needed protection that a quarterback needs.

Another player who is expected to be a great pillar in this campaign is Clarence Lewis. Clarence is one kid who impressed everyone. He is expected to provide outstanding mentorship to the new talents coming in. Such talents include Ryan Barnes and Phillip Riley. The two are the Notre Dame Team’s future and are expected to grow under Lewis’s mentorship. Finally, hopes are also high on Jarett Patterson. Jarod is the offensive lineman for the team. He will have to bear the heavy pressure of losing four-fifths of the team’s offensive line. Patterson has a huge role in leading the offensive linemen players new to the team. The role of protecting the quarterback’s blindside will rest heavily on his shoulders.
